We collect information in a few ways:

• Information you give us directly through the enquiry form: your name, email address, a free-text description of what you would like to improve, and optionally your website. Enquiries sent before September 2026 may also include a business name or phone number.
• Chat widget conversations if you use the chat widget on the site, the messages you send are processed by that widget in order to respond to you.
• Standard technical data our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information common to all websites (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and reliability purposes.

2. How we use your information

We use the information collected to:

We use a small number of third-party services to run this site, each of which processes limited data on our behalf:

• Our website hosting provider, Netlify, which receives and stores enquiry form submissions and notifies us by email.
• Google Analytics, to understand site traffic and usage.
• A website hosting provider.
• A chat widget provider, for the live chat feature.

Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy terms in addition to this policy.

6. Data retention

We keep enquiry form submissions for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and maintain business records, and delete or anonymise them when no longer needed, unless a longer period is required by law.

Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

8. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
